This is absolutely worth watching. Porges discusses finer points of polyvagal and, at times, these are compared to ACT. I would have liked more information about the practical applications of ACT and polyvagal in the therapy room and strategies for treatment planning but I understand that this may have not been the intention of this particular talk.

The conversation between Steve and Steve/Stephen is one of mutual respect, safety, contextualized understanding discussion got exciting about what similarities (of which there are many) the two theories (PVT & ACT) have. They did seem to move each other, and come together with some common questions and in a broad, accepting way, yet each theory within its foundation and strength, both leaders being open and curious.
